Wrinkle correction

As skin ages wrinkles appear which often leads to an ageing effect – botulinum toxin can be used on affected area to relax the muscles and remove wrinkles to leave you feeling younger.

We mainly treat ‘Crow’s feet’, forehead and frown lines.

How does the procedure work?

Your treatment will consist of injections where the product is carefully administered to your skin. Usually, patients report no pain associated with the injections and the needle used is very fine, but we can apply an anaesthetic cream prior to your treatment.

We use 2 main brands; Azzalure® or Bocature – both products work with your facial muscles to make your skin relax and smooth out. A typical treatment lasts 15-30 minutes, and you will be able to see the results within a few days.

Are you suitable for treatment?

Treatments are not available to patients under 18. Before your treatment, you will have a consultation with our medical professional to discuss the procedure and which area you would like to be treated.

How long do results last?

Treament results can last up to 4 months.

Is there any aftercare to follow?

• Use high-factor sunscreen daily
• Avoid wearing make-up and moisturisers on the day after your treatment
• Avoid laying down for 2-3 hours after your treatment
• Avoid alcohol, exercise and activities that could raise your blood pressure for at least 24 hours after your treatment
