Purlys Dental Practice cares for you and your children, and we want to make sure all your family members have healthy smiles.

Children are sensitive, and it is vital to develop a good oral care routine at a young age to have healthy teeth in the future. This includes not only regular brushing and flossing, but also having a healthy and balanced diet.

We aim to make your child feel comfortable and safe in our dental surroundings to treat their teeth according to their needs. Our friendly dentist can also advise better oral care techniques to improve your child’s overall dental health.

When should you take your child to see a dentist?

Your children should see a dentist within six months from the moment their first tooth shows up and have regular dental visits every six months. However, our dentist will advise you according to your child’s individual needs.

What to expect when your child visits us?

A thorough dental examination will include an assessment of your child’s tooth development, oral health, diet and oral care habits.

How to improve your child’s teeth?

Make sure your child’s teeth are brushed twice a day (preferably for 2-3 minutes, before breakfast and before bedtime).

Avoid giving your children fizzy or sugary drinks. Instead, water would be a better option. If you give your child sweet treats, it’s better to offer them after meals instead of as frequent snacks.

We also advise having regular dental check-ups.
